Alignment is the mechanical cousin of structural repair: the same principle, that a car is only right when it measures right.
After hitting a curb or a pothole hard. After suspension work. After a collision repair. Or when the car pulls, the wheel sits off-center on a straight road, or the tires are wearing on one edge.
Alignment that is out does not stay a handling problem. It becomes a tire bill.
If it has been hit and it also needs mechanical work, it does not need to go anywhere else.
