The contact form asks for your name, your telephone number, your email address if you choose to give one, the kind of work you need, and a description of what happened. You decide what goes in the message box, so please do not put anything in it you would not want held in an ordinary business record.
Our forms provider records the IP address, browser identification and referring page of each submission alongside it. This is standard and is used to identify automated spam.
To answer you, to quote the work, and to keep an ordinary record of the job. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers named below and, where the work is an insurance claim, the insurer handling that claim.
The site is hosted by Netlify, which also receives and stores form submissions and emails them to the shop. We use Google Ads conversion measurement to see which adverts lead to enquiries. Google measurement can set cookies in your browser. Each of those companies handles the data under its own privacy terms.
Our booking calendar is provided by Acuity Scheduling, part of Squarespace. Information you enter in the calendar is processed by Acuity to arrange your appointment. When a booking is completed, we send its appointment reference to Google Ads for conversion measurement and duplicate prevention. We do not include your name, email address, phone number or intake answers in that event.
Enquiries are kept while we are dealing with them and afterwards for as long as we would keep any other record of work quoted or carried out. Ask us and we will delete yours.
You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings. Turning cookies off does not stop you using this site or the form. To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, contact us using the details above.
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
